Overview

Support.com Cloud supports the following types of apis:

JavaScript API

This integration allows you to embed Assisted and Self Support into your web application or page.

Android API

This integration allows you to embed Assisted and Self Support into your Android mobile application.

IOS API

This integration allows you to embed Assisted and Self Support into your Android mobile application.

REST API

This integration type allows your application to programmatically perform read/update/create (GET/PUT/POST) operations on Support.com Cloud data objects.

Event Subscription

This integration type enables your application to receive notification of Support.com Cloud events, such as state transitions for the sessions and Guided Paths™. It is intended for use in conjunction with the REST API, enabling an application to receive rich information about the events and data objects.

Portal UI Integration

This integration method allows your application to instantiate Support.com Cloud UI modules, such as the Agent Navigator, passing in the data context for the specific functionality of the module.

Agent Navigator

This UI module can be invoked from your application (typically, a CRM/CTI application) to allow an agent to seamlessly access the assisted service delivery flow in Support.com Cloud.

Dynamic Steps

Dynamic Steps are special Guided Paths steps which allow run time interaction with external REST / JSON HTTP request APIs to not only update data or initiate an activity on a remote system, but also to read data and use it in the Decision Point to navigate to the next appropriate step.
